SAP functions for posting

For HR infotype updates use function HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION

We had trouwbles using this function module. We had a posting in HR Absences. When we try to post a new item here, some other infotype weren't updated. Which had to be.

So that's the reason why we use the old fasion CALL TRANSACTION PA30 statement. After this, all other infotypes were also set properly

I think it depends on the precise update.
We have had much success calling the HR function module multiple times to update several info types.
